GOOGLE GOGGLES UPDATE: SUDOKU HAS MET ITS MATCH

googlegoggles

Google has just released an update for their insanely great “Google Goggles” Android and iOS app.  The update brings several new mind bending features.

The first of which is barcode scanning.  Scan the barcode of any item and Google will search the entire WWW trying to find you the lowest price in the world.  Yada Yada Yada, seen it before… But keep in mind, this is a Google app so chances are aliens probably created it.

Also, you can now take a picture of a magazine or print article ad and “Bam” get information on the product instantly. “This new feature of Goggles is enabled for print ads appearing in major U.S. magazines and newspapers from August 2010 onwards.”

Finally, are you ready for this?  Solve any Sudoku puzzle instantly!  OK nobody can top that…

Google employees are required to spend 20 percent of each work day encrypting their innovative ideas into Google’s ecosystem of world domination.  Looks like the fun is starting to pay off!

Interesting take on the sudoku puzzle. I will have to try it. 20 percent, you say. AND world domination. Yes, it is getting exciting what the gimmicks can do these days. We have come so far from the 200+ pounds pacman machine that you have to feed quarters and token into. Next thing you know will be the ability to port oneself into a baseball game or a high speed car chase.
