iPhone 4S To Launch In September, Sprint And T-Mobile Support, No 4G

Forbes is reporting that next iPhone will make its long awaited debut in September.  It will be dubbed the “iPhone 4S” and will feature an A5 dual-core processor, better cameras and HSPA+ support.  The iPhone 4S will include few minor cosmetic changes, likely to correct the infamous “Antennagate” issue.

Apple was preparing a 4G capable iPhone 5, it was to include a new 4G LTE chipset made by Qualcomm.  Apparently the chips were not performing well enough to ship, so Apple had to turn to plan B, the iPhone 4S.

Apple will likely add Sprint and T-Mobile as carriers of the iPhone 4S this fall.  China Mobile will likely be added by fall 2012.

If these reports are true, I would strongly suggest waiting for the iPhone 5.  Apple will likely launch it shortly after Qualcomm’s LTE chips enter production.

Here’s the greatest iPhone app ever!  I wish…
