GOOGLE BREAKS THE LANGUAGE BARRIER WITH REAL TIME AUDIO TRANSLATION

gooogle

A few months ago, Google demoed a new feature for their mobile Google Translate application called “conversation mode”.  Well, this incredible  feature has just gone live!

Google has been on quite a roll lately updating their apps with mind blowing new features.  This new feature however, is only available in alpha mode for Android devices..

Conversation mode will interpret your speech and provide an audible translation in a language of your choosing.

This feature only translates between Spanish and English at the moment.  Hopefully other languages will follow soon!

Check out the demo from a few months back, this is pretty incredible!

  1. Science fiction is not fiction anymore… maybe one day it will be compressed to a small device/app to be carried around when we go to other countries or talk to foreign guys… way to go google!
